This easy honey vanilla simple syrup is the perfect addition to our Organic Indian Chai. Add a splash of milk or frothed milk for a delicious chai latte. Not a chai drinker? This simple syrup goes great with any of your favorite coffee and tea drinks. We used wildflower honey from Zach & Zoe to give it just a hint of floral undertones.
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup honey
- 1 vanilla bean
- Bring water to a boil
- Add vanilla bean and honey
- Return to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes
- Let cool before storing or adding to drinks
- Store at room temp or in fridge for up to two weeks
