This winter, we’re excited to release another batch of Hard Wired, a collaboration born from two of Colorado’s craft beverage pioneers.
Our long-standing partnership with Left Hand Brewing Company has resulted in a number of tasty coffee beer collaborations over the years. But none is more heartfelt to us than Hard Wired Nitro™ — the coffee porter brewed with this exclusive blend of beans. We first crafted this coffee blend to brew the ultimate coffee beer, but quickly discovered it’s far too good to pass up as a morning cup.
This year’s Hard Wired combines natural sun-dried & traditionally washed coffees from Gujiregion of Ethiopia with traditional wet-hulled “Crown Garuda” beans from Northern Sumatra. The medium roast brings out notes of cacao nib, blueberry & stone fruit.
As a special thanks to our friends at Left Hand for their like-minded commitment to giving back, we’re donating $10,000 to the National MS Society through Team Left Hand’s Bike MS rides.
Team Left Hand is a group of Left Hand Brewing Company employee-owners and friends dedicated to solving the riddle that is Multiple Sclerosis. Since 2008, the team has raised over $3.5 million dollars and won’t stop riding or fundraising until MS stands for Mystery Solved.
“I ride because I know too many people with MS and there are few medications for it. We are making progress, but there is still so much work to be done.” –Chris Lennert, CEO of Left Hand Brewing Company, and captain of Team Left Hand, on why he rides for Bike MS.
Bike MS® is the fundraising cycling series of the National MS Society and raises more money than any other cycling event for any other cause. To date, Bike MS cyclists, volunteers, and donors have raised more than $1 billion so people affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what’s been lost, and end MS forever.
